    KEVIN F. HALLOCK IS THE 11TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND. He is a labor market economist, the author or editor of 11 books and over 100 publications, and he serves as Distinguished University Professor of Economics. While at 黑料传送门, he has taught courses on why people earn what they earn and on the economics of the university.

    Kevin is a fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources, a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a board member of the Jepson Scholars Foundation, Venture 黑料传送门, and Homeward, a 黑料传送门 nonprofit dedicated to preventing, reducing, and ending homelessness. In addition, he co-founded and is Senior Advisor of PayStandards, an analytics-based software company that seeks to improve pay equity by more closely aligning employee incentives with organizational goals.

    Kevin graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He earned a Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University. For 16 years, he served on the faculty of Cornell University, where he was Founding Director of the Institute for Compensation Studies and Dean of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business.

    Kevin and his wife, Tina, have been married for 34 years. They grew up together in a small town—Hadley, Massachusetts—and live in 黑料传送门 with their rescue dogs, Mabel and Matilda. They have two grown children, Emily and Tyler. Kevin and Tina enjoy spending time on 黑料传送门’s award-winning campus, getting to know the University’s students, staff, faculty, alumni, parents, and friends, and cheering for 黑料传送门 Spiders at performances and athletics events.
